POSITION: Customer Service Rep II
REPORTS TO: Department Manager
SALARY RANGE: Dependent upon experience

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

 

  • ·           High School diploma or equivalent.
    ·           Ability to multi task: Data processing, incoming calls, and constant interaction with customers, co-workers and management while staying on task and maintaining focus
    ·           Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
    ·           Demonstrate desire and ability to learn the Rental / Parts system and processes; adherence to policies and procedures.
    ·           Strong mechanical aptitude, mechanical experience preferred.
    ·           Desire and ability to learn various computerized service business operating systems.
    ·           Desire and ability to learn utilize, and adhere to service business processes.
    ·           Minimum 12 months satisfactory experience as a CSR I or equivalent experience.
    ·           Recommendation by Supervisor and Service Manager.
  • Satisfactory results (80% or better) on previous Performance Reviews

DUTIES:

  •  
    Parts Department
    ·         Process shop and customer returns
    ·         Process incoming stock from outside vendors
    ·         Fill and deliver backorders to predetermined locations
    ·         Process surplus returns
    ·         Demonstrate use of one Safe Source and NPR.
    ·         Demonstrate ability to inspect Reman cores and process back to Caterpillar
    ·         Demonstrate ability to process a shop order, given part numbers
    ·         Demonstrate specific OP and IP screens and reports
    ·         Demonstrate Cash Handling Procedure

NOTES:

  • Position is subject to extended work hours as business dictates.
  • Current and past performance in department assignments will be considered as a part of the selection process.
  • Transfers between departments, stores and/or companies are contingent upon realistic resolution of any vacancy caused by transfer from current department.
  • Duties may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

 

SALARY RANGE: Dependent upon experience

  • Maintain a professional, business-like appearance at all times when representing the Company

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to exert 50 lbs. of force occasionally and 20 lbs. of force frequently
  • Position requires reaching, grasping, sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, and standing
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, for contact with customers and co-workers
  • Must be able to read and comprehend information received via computer terminal, specification reports, memos, and report

 

General and Other:

  • Must adhere to all company and department personnel policies and procedures
