Service – Full Time


Riggs CAT is an award winning, family owned and operated, Caterpillar dealership, serving the state of Arkansas by selling, renting, and servicing Caterpillar equipment since 1927 from 9 locations across the state.


Our utility servicemen assist our service department in various task on the yard, including but not limited to; cleaning machines, loading and unloading equipment, and transporting equipment around the facility.  



  • Clean machines, components, work areas, and parts.
  • Maintains equipment used in performance of duties.
  • Load and unload equipment, components, and parts.
  • Transport equipment, components, and parts around the facility.
  • Remove and install components, or parts.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment and components.
  • Perform all tasks in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction and prompt invoicing and payment for work performed.
  • Take proper care of all company owned assets and keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Perform all of the above functions in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Other duties as required in support of Riggs customers and business operations.
  • Must be able to drive for extended period of times frequently.
  • Employee is occasionally submitted to high levels of stress.
  • Employee is frequently exposed to adverse weather conditions.
  • Must adhere to all Company and department personnel policies and procedures

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to exert 50 lbs. of force occasionally and 20 lbs. of force frequently.
  • Position requires reaching, grasping, walking, jumping, climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, for contact with customers and co-workers.
  • Must be able to hear telephone conversations.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend information received via computer terminal, specification reports, memos, and reports.
